Seven Interesting Things about Me

Well, it seems that I've been tagged by Sandra at On Living by Learning to play this meme. Sadly, I was reading her blog where she mentioned that she had tagged me and only then did I trek over to my own blog to find that I had been tagged! How sad that I visit other people's blogs more than my own...

Anyhoo, so the task is to write 7 interesting things about me. Here goes...they might not be interesting, but they are me.

1) I hate wet feet. If someone (who shall remain nameless) drips his wet feet on the floor after his shower and I happen to step in it, even just a teeny, tiny corner of it, the socks have to come off.

2) I love peanut butter AND maple syrup together on my pancakes.

3) I work in cycles, and have huge productive surges and then times where no new projects happen (and old ones don't get finished).

4) I will eat just about anything once. Actually, I'll even keep trying things I hate. That's how I came to have a speaking-relationship with olives after many years of "don't bother me, I won't bother you".

Gack..I'm running out of interesting things and I'm only up to four. Umm...(she sits and scratches her head).

5) I'm a go-getter and don't have much patience for those who dream but don't pursue them. Oh yeah, patience in any quantity is something that I have to work at. Like, really work at....

6) I love to be outdoors and I love to read. And reading outdoors...well that's just about the best mini-vacation out there. Hence, my desire to get my back yard finished, so I can sip something frothy and fun while kicked back on a porch swing.

7) I will read anything. Especially anything that gets an organized group's knickers in a twist. Any book that's been on a banned book list is on my "gotta read it" list!

Guess I made it seven. Now off to read everyone else's list :)
